Court issues warrants for honour killing suspects
New Delhi, Jun 25: A Delhi court issued warrants against three suspected people involved with the sensational Ashok Vihar honour killing case.
The production warrants are against Mandeep Nagar, Ankit Chaudhary and Nakul Khari, who were detained in Uttar Pradesh on Thursday, Jun 24.
Metropolitan magistrate Satish Kumar ordered Ghaziabad Dasna jail authorities to present the accused before the court on Saturday, Jun 26.
The three were alleged of killing Ankit's sister Monica (24), her husband Kuldeep (26) and Mandeep's sister Shobha (22). Monica and Kuldeep were murdered for marrying from different castes where as Shobha was assassinated for helping Monica. She also had eloped with a man belonging to another caste.
Uttar Pradesh police have recovered a country-made pistol and a car which the suspects were using for the last five days after the murder.
