Jaswant Singh returns to BJP on Jun 24
New Delhi, Jun 24: A spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party said that Jaswant Singh, Lok Sabha MP and former external affairs minister, will rejoin the party later on Thursday, Jun 24.
He will re-join the party in the presence of LK Advani, the senior party leader and Nitin Gadkari, party president. The information was given by party spokesman Ramnath Kovind.
Jaswant Singh was expelled from the party ten months before over the controversy about his book on Pakistan's founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Aug, 2009.
Singh represents Darjeeling in West Bengal in Lok Sabha.
