Obama to meet Manmohan Singh at G20 summit
New Delhi, Jun 24: US President Barack Obama will meet Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who will visit Canada for the G-20 Summit to be held in Toronto, informed Anand Sharma, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, on Wednesday, Jun 23.
Obama and Singh are expected to review the series of high level meetings and bilateral talks held between the top officials of two countries. This includes the first ever Cabinet-level Indo-US Strategic Dialogue held in Washington in Jun, 2010 during which SM Krishna, External Affairs Minister had met Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Singh has not met Obama since the Nuclear Security Summit held in Washington in Apr 2010.
Anand Sharma also told that Obama will be visiting India later this year and Indian officials are looking forward to the visit.
