Chelsea Clinton's wedding day details being kept on lockdown

Washington, June 23 (ANI): Wedding details of former US President Bill Clinton's daughter Chelsea are being kept highly secret.

Chelsea will marry her childhood friend Marc Mezvinsky on July 31 in an unknown location that is a two to three hour drive from New York City, according to Doree Shafrir, who first reported the details of the wedding in New York Magazine.

News of Chelsea's wedding became public in November 2009, when the she and fiance Mezvinsky sent an e-mail to friends, saying: "We're sorry for the mass e-mail but we wanted to wish everyone a belated Happy Thanksgiving! We also wanted to share that we are engaged! We didn't get married this past summer despite the stories to the contrary, but we are looking toward next summer and hope you all will be there to celebrate with us. Happy Holidays! Chelsea n Marc,' reports ABC News.

Initially, speculations were rife that the wedding would take place at Martha's Vineyard, Massachusets, but Shafrir said it would now take place at a secret location.

"All the guests who've been invited are going to be notified a week before the wedding by the wedding planner as to where the wedding is," Shfrir said. (ANI)
