Teacher gang raped for 8 months, attempts suicide

Ahmedabad, Jun 22: A teacher was allegedly gang raped by her collegue and his friends for eight months leading to the woman attempting suicide.

The woman is currently in a hospital fight for her life, reported CNN-IBN.

The victim was working as a teacher at the PTC College. In her suicide note, she alleged that the men took nude pictures of her to blackmail her into submission.

The victim got the job of the teacher with help from a primary school teacher, identified as Mukesh Patel, and her neighbour.

Patel and her neighbour started sexually exploiting her eight months ago, the TV news channel reported on Tuesday, Jun 22.

Besides subjecting the woman to sexual abuse, Patel even invited three of his friends to join the crime. Two of Patel's friends, who raped the woman, have been identified as Ketan and Dinesh.

The police has begun operations to arrest the culprits. One person has already been arrested.
