Specially-abled people seek jobs in Chennai
Chennai, June 18 (ANI): A group of specially-abled people here on Thursday staged a protest, demanding employment opportunities in government and private sector in Tamil Nadu.
Carrying placards, about 50 members of the Educated Handicapped Development Association, demanded that the government should help them in getting employment opportunities.
Talking to reporters, Ramarajan, the General Secretary of Educated Handicapped Development Association, Chennai said: "Different specially-abled people are fighting for their rights for many years. Even those educated are not getting any employment opportunities; so we request the government to give us employment."
"We will continue the protest in case if it is not done," Ramarajan added. (ANI)
