Speculations rife about Uma Bharti's return to BJP
Raipur/ Kawardha, June 17 (ANI): Expelled Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Uma Bharti's move to travel with senior BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani in a special plane to Raipur on Wednesday has fuelled speculation about her possible return to the party.
Bharti travelled along with Advani, former BJP President Rajnath Singh and party spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad to Raipur to attend a condolence meet for Chief Minister Raman Singh's father.
"I was sitting with Lal Krishna Advani and he asked me to come along to attend a remembrance ceremony of the death of Chief Minister Raman Singh's father," said Bharti.
Meanwhile, sharing the same stage in Kawardha, Advani praised Bharti for her oratorial skills.
"I will tell all my friends that there are leaders, who give long lectures and interpretations, but after listening to Uma Bharti, I would say that only her address was appropriate," said Advani.
Bharti was expelled from the BJP in 2005 after a spat with Advani. (ANI)
