13 Maoist sympathisers arrested in West Bengal
Kolkata, Jun 17: Days after security forces detains 70 suspected Maoists, as many as 13 Maoist sympathisers have been arrested.
The 13 detained include journalists, writers, activists and a scientist. Nisha Biswas, scientist of Central Ceramic and Glass Research Centre, author Manik Mondal and Kanishka Choudhury, professor of Behala college are among the people arrested.
The arrested have been charged with sedition and sent to 14 day judicial custody.
