JK police constable arrested for molesting widow
Jammu, Jun 15: After the 'molestor cops' of Haryana, yet another shocker comes from Poonch district where a policeman allegedly molested a 27-year-old widow.
Nisar Ahmed, a police constable, has been arrested on Monday, Jun 14 for molesting the widow in Gursai forest belt in Mendhar tehsil of the district in Jammu Kashmir.
The window filed a police case against Nisar leading to his arrest.
The case of the protector turning into a predator is not new. The Poonch case is similar to two popular cases from Haryana. Former Inspector General of Haryana Police MS Ahlawat has been accused of molesting a widow nine years ago and former DGP of Haryana, SPS Rathore, who has been convicted for molesting 14-year-old Ruchika Girhotra.
