Ad row would not affect alliance: Sharad Yadav
Patna, June 13 (ANI): Janata Dal (United) president Sharad Yadav on Sunday said that the advertisement row between Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi is not going to affect the his party's association with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Interacting with media, Yadav said the advertisement row is a closed matter.
"The advertisement in question was given by an ad agency, that's what the BJP is saying. And we have no reason to disbelieve them. Yesterday's matter is over, and ours has been a long standing alliance," Yadav said.
Yadav's statement came just a day after Kumar expressing anguish over a newspaper advertisement containing his photograph with Modi.
On Saturday, Kumar had cancelled a dinner hosted for senior BJP leaders who gathered here for the party's national executive expressing his displeasure over the advertisement. (ANI)
