Patna, Jun 12: Strategy for the upcoming Bihar assembly elections along with the situation in Jharkhand are expected to figure on the priority list during the two-day Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) national executive committee meeting, which begins here on Saturday, Jun 12.

The meeting will be attended by senior party leaders such as L K Advani, Narenrdra Modi, Arun Jaitley, Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj and Murli Manohar Joshi and the party president Nitin Gadkari.

Among other topics that will be discussed by the 352-member committee includes the Maoists menace, and the performance of the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government.

The main opposition party will also be formulating ways to expose the government's 'step-motherly treatment' to non-Congress-ruled states.
