Popular Proteas hooch a runaway hit with English fans
Cape Town, June 11 (ANI): A decision by a bar in South Africa to sell a nameless pink homebrew concocted from the cereal sorghum is proving to be a runaway winner, especially among English football fans, the Daily Star reported.
The beverage, said to be South Africa's strongest hooch, is getting immensely popular because of its low price.
Though it has drawn criticisms on grounds of safety, it is said to be very strong to deal with.
"One and a half is enough for me. Then I fall over", says Patrice Bosilong, a visitor in the bar.
Lucky Ramora, the owner of Lucky's Bar in Rustenburg, the headquarters of the English football team, revealed that he has stocked up 1.2 pints of the brew. (ANI)
