Brit PM dodges Taliban bullets in Afghanistan
Kabul, Jun 11: The newly elected British Prime Minister David Cameron's visit to Afghanistan has been marred by a death plot planned by the Taliban.
Cameron dodged the Taliban's bullets as the intelligence officials uncovered an assassination plot by the Taliban insurgents, who were planning on shooting down the Brit PM's Chinook helicopter. The terror plot forced Cameron to abandon a visit to a military base in Helmand province.
The officials were able to foil the terror plot based on mobile phone conversations, which suggested that the insurgents, who had heard the news of Cameron's visit and were readying themselves to shot his helicopter down with rockets.
