21 killed in Jharkhand road accident
Dhanbad, Jun 9: A road accident left 21 of a marriage party dead and 20 others injured in Jharkhand's Dhanbad district on Wednesday, Jun 9.
The bus that the people were travelling in hit a tree near Grand Trunk road while returning to Salampur in West Bengal's Chittaranjan town.
The driver lost control of the bus leading to the accident, in which 18 people were killed in the spot. The death toll rose to 21 after three others succumbed to their injuries at a local hospital.
The injured are undergoing medical treatment at a hospital.
