Mild earthquake in UP
Lucknow, Jun 8: The tremor of light intensity hit the parts of western Uttar Pradesh on Monday, Jun 7, informed an official. No damage to life of property is reported.
"It was a light intensity earthquake. The tremors were recorded at 11.42 pm on Monday," reported an official from the India Meteorological Department.
The tremor happened at the Baghpat-Meerut border of Uttar Pradesh. The quake measured 3 on the richter scale.
The earthquake has no effects in Delhi, informed an official.
