Seven die in a US Midwest tornado
Washington, Jun 7: Atleast seven people were dead in a US midwest tornado, which left over 10 kilometres of destruction in northwestern Ohio. More than 50 houses were destructed. A dozen people got injured and hospitalized following the twister.
The tornado was an F2, which came with heavy storm winds between 113 and 157 mph.
The spokesperson from Ohio Emergency Management Agency also informed that the tornado touched down in Wood County, southeast of Toledo in Ohio.
The US National Weather Service informed that as many as seven tornadoes touched down in nothwestern Ohio, late Saturday, Jun 5 and Sunday, Jun 6 morning. The main twister touched down Millbury at around 11:00 pm on Saturday, Jun 5.
