Heather Mills celebrates winning legal battle over nanny's bully claims
London, June 5 (ANI): Heather Mills has expressed her delight at winning the legal battle brought about by her nanny who claimed she was bullied out of her job by the former model.
Mills, 42, said she felt vindicated that a tribunal recognised her "fair and generous" treatment of Sara Trumble, and welcomed the result as she arrived back in England from a holiday in Mauritius.
But even though she won, it did not stop tribunal chairman, employment judge Steven Vowles, from blasting both sides for making rude personal comments during the heated four-day hearing.
Trumble, 26, alleged that her boss forced her from her 260pounds-a-week job, which involved caring for Sir Paul McCartney and Mills' daughter Beatrice, after she fell pregnant.
The brunette said she was reduced to tears by "rude and horrible" voicemail messages and other "humiliating and demeaning" behaviour.
But the panel ruled against her after hearing how she received gifts and perks from her boss, including a two-seater Daihatsu Copen sports car.
Mills had countered by claiming they fell out after she refused to fund Trumble's 4,000 pounds breast enlargement surgery soon after she had given birth.
"Heather is delighted with the decision of the employment tribunal that has dismissed all of Sara Trumble's claims," the Daily Express quoted her spokesman as saying.
"Heather was always a very fair and generous employer to Sara and is very pleased that this has been confirmed by Judge Vowles and the tribunal members unanimously in the judgment," he added.
Trumble's lawyer Nick Fairweather confirmed on June 4 that she has lost the case. (ANI)
