Goa Tourism Minister resigns

Panaji, June 5 (ANI): Goa Tourism Minister Mickky Pacheco resigned on Saturday after being embroiled in a controversy following the "unnatural death" of his close friend Nadia Joelle Torrado.

Earlier on Friday, the crime branch officials interrogated Pacheco almost nine hours in connection with Torrado's death.

Twenty-eight-year-old Torrado died in a Chennai hospital last week. She was treated there for consumption of poison. (ANI)
