Lahore, Jun.4 (ANI): In an apparent attempt to incite public sentiments, a top leader of the Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD), the front face of the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), has urged political leaders of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) to refrain from indulging in petty political issues and continue the 'struggle' for winning Kashmir back from India.

Speaking during a seminar titled: "Palestine, Kashmir Dispute, and the Role of World Organisations", JuD's central leader Hafiz Abdur Rahman Makki criticised the international community for failing to resolve the Kashmir and Palestine disputes.

Former PoK Assembly Member Muhammad Shafi Josh, who also participated in the seminar, reiterated Islamabad's stance, saying the United Nations (UN) resolutions on Kashmir were the only solution to the long pending dispute.

Josh also criticised all previous Pakistan governments for failing to taking up the cause of Kashmir on the right platform.

"An atomic, democratic and united Pakistan could better fight not only for the cause of Kashmir but also for settling all the world issues including Palestine," The Nation quoted Josh, as saying. (ANI)
