Looks-conscious Berlusconi backs anti-ageing firm
London, June 3 (ANI): Silvio Berlusconi has lent his support to two firms researching ways to battle ageing and cancer.
The Italian Premier, 73, who has overcome prostate cancer and a heart condition, is now the biggest investor in Milan-based Molecular Medicine, a biotech firm testing two cancer drugs, reports the Telegraph.
Berlusconi owns nearly a quarter of the company with his youngest son Luigi, 21, on the firm's board.
Berlusconi's holding in the company is reportedly worth more than 40 million euros.
He has also thrown his support behind the firm's second biggest shareholder, the Milan-based foundation San Raffaele del Monte Tabor, which aims to build a 150 million euro research and treatment devoted to fending off the effects of ageing. (ANI)
