Purse snatching case: Kirsten Dunst denies being hooked to marijuana
New York, June 2 (ANI): Kirsten Dunst, who testified in court for the purse snatching case, said that she doesn't smoke marijuana.
"I don't," The New York Daily News quoted Dunst, who was testifying at the re-trial of a man accused of stealing her purse from a penthouse suite at the SoHo Grand hotel.
She, however, pointed the finger at her personal assistant, saying that she did smoke pot.
Defence Attorney Parker questioned Dunst if she had ever publicly stated that the drug should be made legal - a question that was barred by the judge on grounds that it was irrelevant.
Dunst denied knowing Jimenez or Beinerman and inviting them to the suite.
Jimenez and Bienerman were accused of snatching Dunst's 2,000-dollar handbag while she was filming "How to Lose Friends and Alienate People" in August 2007.
Bienerman pleaded guilty while Jimenez's first trial ended with the jury deadlocked on two charges. (ANI)
