14 killed, many injured in Dhaka building collapse

Dhaka, June 2 (ANI): At least 14 people have died and dozens more are reported trapped in debris after a five-storey building collapsed in Dhaka on Wednesday.

Reports said that several homes have also collapsed. Police and witnesses said at least 50 people were hurt.

Police blamed bad construction for the collapse of the building.

Rescue teams are sifting through the rubble for bodies and survivors. Police fear the death toll could rise to about 100. (ANI)
