Gyaneshwari Express derailment: Death toll crosses 140 mark
Jhargram (West Bengal), May 30 (ANI): The death toll in the Gyaneshwari Express train derailment has risen to over 140 on Sunday, as more bodies were pulled out from the wreckage of the mangled coaches.

Over 3000 security force personnel were reported to be involved in the rescue operations.
At least 290 others injured in the mishap are being treated at different hospitals in Midnapore, Kharagpur, Jhargram and Kolkata.
The incident occurred at around 1: 30 a.m. on Friday, when the Mumbai-bound train was running between Khemasoli and Sardiya stations. (ANI)
