Kolkata, May 29 (ANI): The Railways has filed a First Information Report (FIR) in connection with Friday's Gyaneshwari Express mishap in West Bengal's Jhargram in West Midnapore District, which killed over 68 people.
The case was filed by the train driver against unknown people.
The complaint, however, made no mention of Maoists.
The diver claimed that he heard the sound of a blast before the train derailed.
The incident occurred at around 1:30 a.m. on Friday when the Mumbai-bound train was running between Khemasoli and Sardiya stations, over 135 km from Kolkata.
Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee had on Friday said the bomb last was part of a calculated attack. (ANI)
