Neeraj Patil sworn in as Mayor

London, May 28: Dr Neeraj Patil was sworn in as the Mayor of Lambeth district of London on Wednesday, May 26.

Patil is being elected as a labour councilor of Lambeth, for the second term. He was unanimously elected as the Mayor of Lambeth, soon afterwards.

Neeraj Paitl becomes another Indian recognition over the world, as has been elected as a Councilor and a mayor.

Patil has also been honored with the Karnataka Rajyothsava Award and the Aryabhatta Award. Patil belongs to a politically active family in Kamalapura.

He will be in charge to look after the welfare of NRI's and other expats who are living in that area of London.
