Stones pelted at Jagan Mohan Reddy

Hyderabad, May 28: Jagan Mohan Reddy has been taken to preventive custory in between his six-days' 'Odarpu Yatra', in Warangal district in Andhra Pradesh. Stones were pelted at him by Telengana Joint Action Committee (JAC) members, at Ongappaly railway station enroute to warangal.

Police had recovered and defused a country-made bomb, kept by Telengana protagonists who wanted to stop Odarpu Yatra.

He had started the journey from Mahabubabad, despite Congress high command's instructions, to console the families of the people who commited suicide on behalf of YSR's demise. Congress had advised him not to start with the journey as the surcharged atmosphere in the region was not infavour of that.

His schedule was to meet 77 families in 72 villages in the Warangal during his tour and also unveil the statues of his late father at about 40 places, sources said.

Jagan had also made it clear that the his intention is purely personal and with out any political element, as it is being vehemently opposed by TRS and other Telengana outfits.
