Black Box of air crash badly damaged

New Delhi, May 27: The cockpit voice recorder and the black box of Mangalore air crash are badly damaged, informed the officials from New Delhi.

The chip inside the device, which can survive the heat of the crash, has not been damaged but India does not have the facilities to decode it from the damaged device.

Black Box, mounted in the tail of the flight, need to be sent and decoded from United States. The chip inside the device should be taken out for the analysis, for which it should be sent to US.

It will take another two weeks, to know the exact details of the air crash.
