AI should take firm action: Praful Patel
New Delhi, May 26: Initial talks between Air India management and stricking employees reached nowhere on Wednesday, May 26 as both the sides have not been ready for a compromise. Praful Patel, the Civil Aviation Minister asked the AI management to respond strong and tough actions against the employees. He also said that a strike soon after the Mangalore aircrash seems very irresponsible, causing inconvenience to the travellers.
Praful patel also said that government will not interfere in the issues like this and leaves the issue to solve by AI management for the appropriate action.
He also blamed that the stricking staff had caused inconvenience to thousands of travellers across the country besides hurting the finances and image of the reputed avaiation company.
Praful Patel also warned the employees that they should not take the law and management into their hands.
