Mangalore air crash: Black box found
Mangalore, May 25: The black box of the Mangalore air crash, is recovered after 72 hours on Tuesday, May 25. The main parts of the black box are intact, informed the DGCA officials.
The black box will be sent to Delhi for the analysis. It will reveal the details of the Mangalore air crash, including what really went wrong with the flight.
Black box is the device used to record the flight performance data. It is designed to withstand the crash and heat. It will record all control settings.
The device is in orange colour and not in black colour as the name suggests.The colour is designed for the easy spotting in wreck.
There were suspicions that it was found, two or three hours after the search started on Sunday, May 23.
