Britain named world's chip capital!

London, May 25 (ANI): Britain has been named the chip capital of the world after a survey found out that the country has 16 different varieties of chips.

Other most chip consuming countries like France and US only prefer basic French fries.ut the survey revealed that there are a number of chip types served in Britain with a range of regional tastes, reports The Sun.

Northeast chip lovers prefer the classic fish shop style, while the people down South, Midlands and Northern Ireland go for steakhouse cut.

Londoners favour the thin and crispy variety.

The survey conducted by Tesco found 16 types of chips, and 13 regional preferences. (ANI)
