Pune bomb blast suspect Bhatkal arrested
Mangalore, May 24: Abdul Samad Bhatkal, the suspected terrorist believed to be one among the conspiracy of Pune German bakery blast, was arrested by the Maharasthra Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) at the Bajpe airport in Mangalore on Monday, May 24.
Bhatkal was coming from Dubai in the early hours, informed the police. ATS nabbed him as soon as he landed Mangalore, reports The Hindu.
He was dispatched to an undisclosed location immediately for further interrogation, said the police.
Bhatkal is a member of the banned association SIMI. He is also the close relative of Riaz Bhatkal, the Indian Mujahideen founder.
