Ranchi, May 24: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has called all the its MLAs for a conference at the Chief Minister Shibu Soren's residence on Monday, May 24 to discuss about the legislature party.
Hemant Soren, the JMM legislature party leader informed that they have aked all the party MLA's to attend the meeting at
Shibu Soren's residence to discuss the present political situation. But he declined to comment whether the party would announce its plans about the future, at the end of the meeting.
The development comes a day after the JMM said it was in touch with the Congress. It also had informed that all options were open including changing its alliance with BJP.
Shibu Soren had said that it is for the BJP to look for options, as he is in touch with both the Congress and BJP. He also had said that he is not ready to quit the position, giving a different twist to the state politics.
He has to step down as the CM by June 30, if he is not elected to the Assembly by then.
Shibu Soren had earlier said that he will resign after the party reached an agreement with the BJP for sharing power on a rotational basis with the BJP to head the government first.
