Thai people saddened by dwindling love among countrymen
Bangkok, May 22 (ANI): Thailand's population is distressed at the state of affairs in the country and the loss of love that people had for each other, a poll has revealed.
Assumption University's Abac poll sought an opinion from 1,185 households in 17 provinces on May 21.
Nearly all respondents (96.6 per cent) said they were very sad to see that Thai people do not love each other anymore.
According to the Bangkok Post, public sentiment was also with Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva with 74.5 per cent supporting the five-point reconciliation road map proposed by him.
Their heart went out to their less privileged brethren, with 97.8 per cent of the respondents saying they were concerned about the low income people who have become jobless caused by political violence. (ANI)
