Swami Nithyanada's wait for bail continues
Bangalore, May 19: Swami Nithyananda's wait for any relief from the authorities and investigations in connection with the sex scandal continues, as the Karnataka High Court has adjourned his bail plea hearing to May 26.
High court judge justice HS Kempanna on Tuesday, May 18, posted the hearing on the tainted godman to next week on the request of the petitioner's council for more time.
Swami Nithyananda has applied for bail in connection with the case registered filed against him by Lenin Karuppan, his former disciple.
It was Lenin Karuppa, who recorded the godman's sexcapades and exposed his activities to the people and the authorities in Mar 2010.
