Halappa case: CID DNA test plea hearing adjourned
Shimoga, May 18: The hearing of an application by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) seeking permission to conduct DNA test and voice test on scandal-tainted former Karnataka minister H Halappa has been adjourned to Thursday, May 20.
A local court here adjourned the hearing on CID application when the case came up on Monday, May 17.
H Halappa is facing charges of rape and criminal intimidation. He allegedly raped his friend's wife in Nov 2009 and later threatened her and her family.
