Goa blast case: NIA files chargesheet against 8
New Delhi, May 17: In the latest update on the Goa blasts case, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has been filed a chargesheet against 8 accused on Monday, May 17.
The accused against whom the chargesheets have been filed are suspected of having links with Right wing organisation 'Sanatan Sanstha'. Four out of the eight accused are evading arrests.
Two of the accused- Malgonda Patil and Yogesh Naik succumbed to their injuries which they had sustained during the blast.
A case had been filed against the duo under sections of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act and the Indian Penal Code for waging war against the nation.
Patil, a resident of Sangli district of Maharashtra was a member of the Sanatan Sanstha, which is said to be allegedly close to the RSS.
Naik was a resident of Goa.
