Indian 'spy' Madhuri Gupta's custody extended

New Delhi, May 15: The judicial custody of Madhuri Gupta, the Indian diplomat hekd on espionage charges, has been further extended by 14 days.

A city court on Saturday, May 15 extended Gupta's judicial custody by two weeks and asked the jail authorities to produce her in court on May 29.

The Indian diplomat, who was working in Islamabad, was arrested on Apr 27 for passing on classified information to Pakistan's Inter Services Intelligence (ISI).

The 53-year-old Delhiite now faces charges of violating Official Secret's Act.
