Washington, May 14: Three Pakistani nationals have been arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)in connection with the attempted Times Square bombing in NeW York, following search warrants issued in multiple locations in the Northeast, Justice Department spokesman Dean Boyd said.

Boyd said that the three suspects were arrested for alleged immigration violations.

He added that the searches are the 'product of evidence' that has been gathered over the 13-day probe on the failed bomb attack on the New York Times Square.
