Orissa: Man rapes minor deaf & dumb girl, held
Rourkela, May 14: A 50-year-old man was arrested on Friday, May 14, for allegedly raping a 10-year-old deaf and dumb girl in Sundergarh district.
According to police, the accused identified as Kura Tirkey, took the victim to his house in Chhend area and then raped her.
After returning home, the girl reported the incident to her parents. The girl has been rushed to a Rourkela Government Hospital, where she is being treated for bleeding injuries.
Tirkey has been arrested and is now remanded to jail custody, police said.
