Court rejects Koda's bail plea
Ranchi, May 14: In the latest update on the Disproportionate Assets (DA) against former Chief Minister Madhu Koda, the special vigilance court has dismissed the bail plea of the minister.
On Thursday, May 13, Judge Binoy Kant Khan rejected the petition filed Koda on Apr 13.
The former Chief Minister was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with Rs 4000 crore money laundering scam on Nov 30.
Besides Koda, former ministers Enos Ekka, Harinarayan Rai and Kamlesh Singh too are facing DA charges and are at present in judicial custody.
