52 militants arrested in Pakistan

Islamabad, May 14: 52 suspected Lashkar-e-Islam militants, including a wanted terrorist, have been arrested by the Pakistani security forces on Friday, May 14, in a search operation in the restive tribal belt and adjoining areas, officials said.

The arrested miliants, having links banned Lashkar-e-Islam, were nabbed by the Frontier Constabulary during a search operation in Bara area of Khyber Agency.

Large cache of arms and ammunition were recovered from their possession a the time of their arrest.

The arrested militants have been taken to an undiclosed location for interrogation.
