Justice Kapadia sworn in as new CJI
New Delhi, May 12: Justice Sarosh Homi Kapadia was sworn in as the new Chief Justice of India by President Pratibha Patil on Wednesday, May 12.
The 62-year-old Justice Kapadia takes over from K G Balaklkrishnana as the new CJI. He will remain in office till Sep 26, 2012.
Kapadia is the country's 38 CJI.
