BCCI has no documental proof against Modi
Mumbai, May 11: In a startling revelation which could give the suspended IPL Commissioner an upper hand in his ongoing battle with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), it has come to light that the BCCI has no documental proof against Modi.
According to CNN IBN report, the BCCI in its reply via email said that it does not have any document to back their bid-rigging allegations against Modi, after the latter asked for documents which proves his proxy stake in the IPL teams.
The BCCI claimed that the charges levelled against him were solely based on media reports and oral communication by reliable sources.
Modi was issued a show cause notice by the BCCI on Apr 26.
