Suspected shoe bomber held in Pak
Karachi, May 10: A man was arrested by the Pakistani officer on Sunday, May 9, at the Karachi airport, after they found batteries and an electrical circuit in his shoes, official said.
According to airport authorities no explosives were found from the 30-year-old civil engineer, but the electric circuits seized from him could be used to prepare a bomb.
Media reports said that the suspect, who is a resident of Karachi, was scheduled to travel to Muscat by Thai Airways.
