Orissa: Shootout between Maoists-security forces
Koraput (Orissa) May 9: A fresh gun battle has reportedly taken place between security forces and Naxals near Narayanpatna in Koraput district of Orissa, media reports said.
According to report, as many 10 Maoists is expected to have been killed in the joint operation of the Orissa police and anti-Naxal force 'Greyhounds'.
The police recovered around 12 kit bags and found traces of Maoists' bodies being dragged away, following the encounter which took place just a day after 8 CRPF personnel were killed by the Naxals.
