Nagpur, May 6 (ANI): National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has chosen three Indian students from Nagpur city of Maharashtra, to attend the 29th annual International Space Development Conference.

Titled 'National Space Settlement' for this year, the two-day conference will be held in Chicago between May 28 and 31.

These budding space scientists named Shriyash Kadu, Himanshu Kale, and Krishabh Choure, belong to Nikalas Branch of Somalwar High School here.

The trio's creative 'Space Settlement Design' was adjudged "the best" by a team of experts from NASA among various entries.

These students will given an oral presentation of their concept and other aspects at the prestigious conference.

Families of these students are elated at their children's achievement.

"I am not the only one who is happy at my son's achievement. It is a proud moment for the entire region and entire country. The entire Maharashtra state and India is happy for my son," said Deepak Kadu, father of Shriyas Kadu.

Even after being declared as the winners, the trio has been working on their project vis-'-vis the best possible mode for their proposed oral presentation.

"We are working hard on the presentation. We do not want to leave any chance. We will be giving a 15-minute oral presentation at NASA. We want to prove at the conference that Indian students are the best," said Shriyas Kadu, winner of NASA Contest.

Students from 85 countries of different age groups will be present at the conference. (ANI)
