Chinese boy, 6, saved from dropping to death by his ears!
London, May 6 (ANI): A six-year-old Chinese boy was saved from dropping eight storeys by his ears, which prevented his head from completely sliding between window bars outside his home.
Ming Ming from Yichang, China is believed to have woken up alone after his grandfather left him temporarily to run an errand, and that he had fallen outside the window when he tried looking for him.
Crowds gathered after hearing the boy screaming and rescuers were able to save him.
Firefighters were able to use a hydraulic pressure expander to force the bars apart and pull him back into his apartment.
"The only thing stopping him from plunging to the ground below was the fact his head was trapped between two window bars," the Telegraph one witness as saying.
Fire service spokesman Wang Shen added: "He could have fallen to the ground - or have been suffocated - at any minute." (ANI)
