Husband shoots wife; commits suicide

Ghaziabad, May 4: Dispute between a couple turned fatal as a wife was shot to death by her husband. Fearing arrest the husband committed suicide, police said on Tuesday, May 4.

Jacab Jani gunned down his wife Anjani on Saturday, May 1 and fled from the spot, Superintendent of Police A K Vijeta said.

He said that fearing arrest, Jani committed suicide by consuming poison.

Anjani was rushed to the hospital. She is said to be under critical condition.
