Citibank launches Preferred Rupee Checking Account
Bangalore, May 4: Citibank has launched what it calls a 'power-packed' savings accout called the Preferred Rupee Checking Account.
The new savings account offered by the the bank aims at helping Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and Indians, who are constrantly traveling, meet all the financial needs in India.
NRIs and Indian travellors with valid passport and a valid H1/L1/J1/H1-B visa can open the Preferred Rupee Checking Account, which either be an NRE or NRO Account.
The Preferred Rupee Checking Account comes with a slew of services and offers such as great exchange rates, priority service platform, fast and easy money transfer, ATM/debit card for the holder's family in India, access to branches and CitiPhone banking, international card usage at no charge, and DD issuance and delivery at no charge
