Tharoor part of parl panel for external affairs
New Delhi, May 2: In what could bring smiles to Shashi Tharoor, the former Minister of state for External Affairs will be part of the of the key ministry despite quitting from his office in Apr 2010.
Tharoor has been nominated as member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on External Affairs by Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar.
The Lok Sabha MP had to resign as the Minister of State for External Affairs following the Kochi IPL controversy.
